Nokia перегруппировывает силы.

Финская корпорация Нокиа перегруппировывает силы и привлекает новых людей. Так в состав совета директоров войдут Ристо Силасма из F-Secure (Risto Siilasmaa) и сын бывшего президента Финляндии Марко Ахтисаари (Marko Ahtisaari).

Nokia's board has proposed Risto Siilasmaa as its new chairman to replace long-time leader Jorma Ollila, who is due to step down in May. Siilasmaa, a 45-year-old Finnish entrepreneur, has been a Nokia board member since 2008, and his appointment has been widely expected.

He is well known in Finland as the founder of software security company F-Secure. The appointment is expected to be confirmed at the next AGM in May.

Marjorie Scardino has been proposed as vice chairman. Last May Ollila, who led the company in its glory days, announced plans to step down. Ollila, also chairman of Royal Dutch Shell, was to leave Nokia in the spring of 2010, but he was convinced to stay on to shepherd the company through hard times.

Ollila has been on the Nokia board since 1995 and chaired it since 1999. Marko Ahtisaari moves into management team Nokia on Thursday also announced that Marko Ahtisaari, son of former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari, will head the company’s design unit while also gaining a spot on the management team. Ahtisaari and his colleagues have been responsible for the design of Nokia’s N9, Lumia 800 and 900 models.
